"He looked powerful. Was he this planet's Guardian?" one Darkseid sneered as he watched He-El standing in the starry void.
"Not just that. New Krypton—the remnants of the Kryptonians. It seemed this universe had been conquered by Kryptonians. No wonder even this universe's Darkseid had died," another Darkseid snorted.
"Then die." One Darkseid did not waste words and directly unleashed the Omega Effect. His crimson eyes fired twisting rays containing time, space, and energy. The moment they left his eyes, they accumulated momentum in motion, growing ever stronger as they shot toward He-El's chest.
The Darkseids looked at He-El with contempt, not taking him seriously at all.
The Omega Effect was not something anyone in the universe could withstand. They generally would not use this nearly certain-kill ability within a universe. But time was short now. They only wanted to eliminate He-El, who stood in their way, as quickly as possible, which was why they had used the Omega Effect like a trump card.
There was not much time before the universes fused. During this period, they had to smash Earth apart, make the Antimatter Source Fluid flow back into the Positive Matter Universe, destroy the Positive Matter Universe, find the Anti-Life Equation of the Antimatter Universe, cast off their identities as Darkseid avatars, and become independent beings.
Just as the Darkseids coldly watched the Omega Effect nearly strike He-El's chest and impatiently prepared to immediately shatter Earth—

He-El's eyes turned crimson, firing two Heat Vision beams that struck the incoming Omega Effect Rays. He then swiftly absorbed the Omega Effect's energy, time, space, laws, and logic. At lightning speed, his beams met the Omega Effect Rays head-on and shot back into the eyes of the Darkseid who had fired them, blowing his eyes apart.
