"Next, it was time to plant the World Tree in the universe beyond the Traversal Vortex."
Ciri, Zero, Doctor Manhattan, and Lucy each returned to their respective posts. He-El brought the World Tree of Classification and the World Tree that aided universal growth to the starry sky before the Traversal Vortex.
"Your Majesty!" Lucy's azure body looked somewhat haggard and weary. Constant calculations through the time it took for more than a dozen universes to perish had left even her mentally exhausted.
The nearly infinite repetition of the work had almost worn down her consciousness until it became machine-like.
Since becoming a quantum body, this was the first time she had felt her limits.
"You've worked hard. Go rest. I'll handle the Traversal Vortex from here." He-El smiled faintly.
"Yes, Your Majesty." Lucy did not refuse. After informing He-El of all the information she had recorded on the Traversal Vortex, she returned to the Lucy universe, intending to rest properly.
After Lucy left, He-El opened her records and carefully examined the information she had gathered.
He-El had once sent thought-clones without his memories into the universes beyond the Traversal Vortex, while Lucy had continuously recorded the information on each of those thought-clones.
After looking through the records and drawing on his past memories, He-El basically knew what kinds of universes his thought-clones had entered and which universes they were.
"The thought-clones' progress is still far too slow." He-El shook his head, deeply dissatisfied with their progress.
Among the records he reviewed, the fastest progress was in the Digimon universe, where two-dimensional and three-dimensional universes coexisted. His thought-clone had transformed into BlackWarGreymon and was beginning to rule the Digimon.
And the slowest one... was on Earth during its ancient Ice Age, slowly wriggling about as a paramecium.
He-El was truly speechless.
