The Monitor Domain, the supreme realm located above the fifty-two Source Universes, was directly connected to the birthplace of the Monitors: the Monitor Realm.

Some Old Gods and New Gods of God's Domain referred to both the Monitor Domain and the Monitor Realm as the Monitor Domain. In truth, the two were one and the same, so the Old Gods and New Gods of God's Domain were not wrong.

However, the Monitor Domain stood above God's Domain.

The realm inhabited by the Monitors was called the "Monitor Domain," the highest plane of the entire DC Multiverse.

Apokolips of Darkseid, New Genesis of The Father, the realm of the Endless, Olympus of the Greek pantheon, Heaven, Hell, and other such realms all existed on the same plane, known as "God's Domain." It was the second-highest realm of the DC Multiverse, yet even the gods within this second-highest realm could not comprehend the existence of the highest realm.

Between the highest "Monitor Domain" and the second-highest "God's Domain" stood a barrier called Limbo. Within Limbo lay the limit of all living beings' imagination.

It would be more accurate to say that beings beyond the imagination of living creatures existed within the Monitor Domain.

God's Domain was in fact the Heavenly Blood Layer, and within the Heavenly Blood Layer lay the DC Multiverse. In theory, Heavenly Blood was the limit of life in the multiverse, nurturing every form of life in the DC Universe apart from the Monitors, including the Old Gods and New Gods.
