"Let me go, let me go!"
"You're all utterly hideous!"
"Humans aren't worth a single strand of his fur."
"Hideous, stupid! Ah!! Ah!!! Ah!!!!"
Ciri struggled like a madwoman, her hair disheveled. Held up by soldiers, she cursed furiously through tears, her long black-stockinged legs flailing and kicking wildly as she was dragged away. She had no composure at all, like a complete lunatic.
In the end, the soldiers roughly threw her into a detention cell some distance away. She fell hard onto the floor, her palms scraped raw and bleeding.
Bracing herself, she climbed to her feet. Her swollen palms clenched into fists as she slammed them against the steel door, producing dull thuds. "Let me out!"
"You idiots!"
"You have no idea what you're doing!"
"Ah!!!! Aaaah!"
"Go die, you humans who are stupider than pigs!"
"I want to kill all of you, aaahhh..."
Ciri howled through tears, going mad at the iron door. She pounded it fiercely, then raked it with her nails until they split and bled. Her fingertips scraped across the metal as she screamed again and again, truly losing her mind.
Realizing there seemed to be no soldiers guarding the door, Ciri's swollen, tear-reddened eyes casually swept across the detention cell. She spotted a surveillance camera in the corner. Quickly, she grabbed a chair and stood on it. Her loose hair hung around her twisted, tear-streaked face as she pressed close to the camera, shouting incoherently in rage. Gripping the camera with both hands, she shook it back and forth until she tore it down.
After ripping down the camera, Ciri continued to slap the iron door crazily. Only after a while did she realize no one was paying attention to her.
"You're nothing but shit squeezed out by pigs."
"A collection of microorganisms from a filthy gutter."
"Let me out."
"You lumps of flesh whose existence in this world has no meaning!"
Ciri's hair was disheveled, and her face was far too cold. Her words did not match her actions as she occasionally kicked the iron door.
While cursing everyone, her expression remained cold and beautiful. At the same time, she removed her thick-heeled high heels and smashed open their soles, revealing eight tiny test tubes firmly secured inside.
I'll kill all of you!!
You humans who made me lose my faith.
Hideous and vile creatures.
Why does this kind of blood flow through my body?
Ciri cried out in agony within her heart. Her rational madness continued cursing at those beyond the iron door, but her hands had already begun opening the eight tiny test tubes.
A familiar, highly corrosive acidic smell spread through the room. It was refined monster blood extract—Blue Poison. It was lethally harmful to humans; ordinary skin would be corroded as if exposed to strong acid upon contact.
If inhaled, it could cause coughing, pulmonary edema, respiratory tract illnesses, and a series of other conditions.
"Rumble..."
Gunfire and explosions echoed through Anchorage Base.
The blast made the detention cell shake. By accident, the opened Blue Poison spilled directly onto Ciri's pale arm and the floor. The ground sizzled, releasing thick acidic fumes.
Ciri remained intensely focused. She casually grabbed a towel and wiped the Blue Poison from her pale arm, leaving only two marks whiter than her skin. Then, with a cold expression, she continued cursing all humanity while swiftly synthesizing chemical agents.
At last, Ciri found a stainless steel washbasin and filled it with water, then poured the synthesized Blue Poison compound into it.
A large amount of blue toxic vapor rose from the washbasin and spread through the air.
Ciri gagged dryly several times. Her eyes even rolled white for a moment. To ordinary people, it was deadly poison, but to her, it was merely disgusting and nauseating, nothing more.
Still wearing black stockings, Ciri used her foot to push the stainless steel washbasin away from herself, her toes tightly curled. It smelled so awful she felt as though she was about to vomit bile.
After recovering for a moment, Ciri hurriedly mixed the remaining Blue Poison with chemical reagents to synthesize a powerful acid. She splashed it over the steel door lock, then immediately ran solemnly to the corner of the room, squatted down, covered her ears, shut her eyes, and held her breath. Her coldly beautiful yet bedraggled face scrunched into a knot.
The strong acid immediately corroded the iron door, releasing a chokingly foul smell. Within seconds, it ate a large hole through the steel lock.
Unable to hold her breath any longer, Ciri turned and saw that the destroyed lock now had a large opening through which she could see the corridor outside. She could not help loosening her mouth and laughing as she gasped for air, her tender tongue unconsciously sticking out between breaths.
She hurried over and pulled open the iron door. It creaked as she pushed it open while panting.
"Ha... hahahahaha... You're all going to die!!!!"
Ciri was already exhausted. Her hair clung to her sweat-soaked, coldly beautiful face, her eyelids drooping shut from fatigue, the whites of her eyes streaked with blood. Barefoot except for her black stockings, she stepped onto the icy floor, held in a breath until her face turned red, then dragged the washbasin full of blue poison behind her. With both hands, she lifted and hauled it into the corridor.
After dragging the washbasin into the corridor, Ciri hurriedly scampered back into the detention cell like a hamster. She took out a steel cup, ran back to the washbasin, scooped up the synthesized Blue Poison, and flung it into the air.
The liquid immediately transformed into blue mist and began spreading.
"La la la, I'm going to kill you all."
Ciri laughed loudly, holding the steel cup as she scooped and scattered Blue Poison everywhere around her. The area became shrouded in thick, enchanting blue toxic fog.
"I've gone crazy too~~~~"
"Hahaha~~~!!!"
"Let's all die together!! The human world is beyond saving!!"
"Let everything be destroyed!"
"I'm going crazy!!!!"
Ciri wailed like a demon, crying and laughing as she scattered Blue Poison. Blue mist spread everywhere around her until even her vision was engulfed by it.
"Splash—clang—"
Ciri stepped on something wet and slipped. Her whole body crashed to the ground, and her head slammed directly into the floor, knocking over the washbasin.
Her head had taken a heavy blow, leaving her dazed and muddled. Blue toxic liquid flowed across the floor and soaked her sweat-drenched body. She no longer had the strength to rise again.
"Am I going down to Heaven or up to Hell..."
"Why can't I become a madwoman like Mother!!"
Ciri lay sprawled on the ground, whimpering and groaning. Through her haze, she heard heavy footsteps approaching, as though someone had come from Heaven—or Hell had sent someone to receive her. In her blurred, fading vision, she made one final effort to look up.
Within the thick, enchanting blue toxic mist stood a figure with pale, captivating skin, beautifully defined and dynamic muscles, a broad and handsome face, and features as though meticulously sculpted. His glowing body shone softly. Kami appeared before her eyes.
"It's a god..." she murmured before passing out.
He-El stepped into the enchanting blue poisonous fog. The interaction between his body's dense molecular structure and his pressurized bioelectric aura made him almost completely unaffected by extreme energies, while also extending protection against toxins and disease.
Almost no toxin could affect He-El.
He-El looked toward Ciri, lying on the floor in a miserable state. His pupils repeatedly expanded and contracted as he activated Microscopic Vision.
What entered his sight was the surface layer of an ordinary human's skin, like mountains and ravines. It was a hundred times uglier than the real environment. Grease and flakes of dead skin about to peel away covered it, while mites crawled through the countless gullies of the skin. The sight made He-El frown deeply.
Humans were truly too hideous.
His gaze swiftly passed through the epidermis and entered the cells, going even deeper until he saw the DNA itself. After briefly examining it, he withdrew from Microscopic Vision.
"A human with recessive monster genes."
Was she struggling between humanity and monsterhood?
Twenty-one nations connected once more over the internet.
Together, they watched how He-El had completely wiped out modern military forces while facing shells and missiles from M1A2 main battle tank units, armed helicopters such as Apaches, Cobras, and Little Ponies, F-22 Raptor fighter jet formations, and more.
The alien was completely unharmed. Truly, not a single hair had been damaged.
How... were they supposed to fight that?
Everyone on the screen fell silent.
"Can anyone think of a solution?"
"Surrender. I choose surrender."
"Are you joking?"
"Just hand Earth over to the alien?"
"Everyone, don't forget that the alien will not spare us."
"It is no longer us protecting Earth. The alien is certain to kill us to vent his anger."
"..."
"Let's try nuclear weapons."
"Fine. Let's try them."
"According to satellite data, his speed from Anchorage Base to outside the square was roughly Mach 40."
"Does anyone have a nuclear missile faster than Mach 30?"
"..."
"He could just lead the nuke back to your house..."
"We need an opportunity."
"An opportunity to launch a nuclear weapon and hit him."
