He-El and his group had long since swept through the Red Ribbon Army's island branch. After West City sent troops over to take away all the Red Ribbon Army soldiers on the island, they climbed back into the fighter jet and headed toward the waters where the treasure was said to be.
"So it's this place." Master Roshi looked down at the sea through the fighter jet's window and pondered. "I have indeed heard that this area was a gathering place for pirates, with rumors of pirate treasure hidden here."
Master Roshi had not merely heard of them; he had personally killed pirates before. However, he had never found any pirate treasure, only heard that treasure was supposedly hidden here.
Later, the islands in these waters gradually disappeared. Some of the pirates had been killed by Master Roshi, while others had vanished to who knew where.
"Is there really pirate treasure here? There aren't any islands in the nearby waters." Krillin widened his eyes as he scanned the sea, but he could not spot an island anywhere nearby.
"It's only a rumor, after all. Maybe the terrain has changed, or maybe it sank beneath the sea?" Yamcha analyzed.
He-El and Bulma spread out a map and compared it against their surroundings. Bulma checked the environment from time to time before saying with certainty, "It's directly below the fighter jet, but there's nothing below us except the sea."
"It should be in the ocean. If the pirates had left the treasure on an island, we probably wouldn't have gotten the chance to look for it. The rumor has been around for a long time. Only if it was hidden in the deep sea, where it was difficult for people to reach, could pirate treasure remain a legend for so long."
