After confirming their relationship, Bulma happily giggled and got together with He-El. They spent several blissful days without noticing the passage of time, with her clinging to him all day long.
It was not until more than half a month later that she came to her senses.
"Where are you flying the spaceship to, He-El?" Bulma sat comfortably in He-El's lap in the pilot's seat, pressed against his chest like a doll as she looked up and asked him.
"Planet Namek, Kami's hometown and the origin of the Dragon Balls we are seeking. There is a Planet Namek Shenron there, even more powerful than Earth Shenron. I'm going to make a wish to that Shenron for more knowledge," He-El said.
"Then we're almost at our destination." The scenery of an alien planet piqued Bulma's curiosity. She could not help looking at the planetary coordinates displayed by the navigation system. If nothing unexpected happened, they would reach a planet along their route in three days.
"Not that planet." He-El shook his head. "On the way to Planet Namek, I'm stopping by to help King Kai deal with several planets suffering from internal wars and unrest."
"King Kai?" Bulma tilted her head in confusion.
"King Kai is Kami's superior. He is responsible for managing the Northern Galaxy in the universe," He-El said. "He can also communicate telepathically with anyone in the universe."
As soon as He-El finished speaking, North Kai's voice appeared in Bulma's mind.
"Hello, He-El's wife." North Kai's voice rang in Bulma's mind.
Bulma's eyes widened. Still in He-El's arms, she looked around several times but found no one else in the empty cabin. Only then did she withdraw her gaze and cautiously say, "King Kai... sir?"
"Ho ho ho... He-El and I are friends. Just call me King Kai."
