Dandy's little green foot kicked a piece of eggshell flying from inside the egg, poking out. After a month of development, he was ready to hatch.
At the newly established training ground, He-El, Bulma, Nail, and Yug had all gathered around the egg to watch Dandy hatch.
Bulma and Yug had both set aside their modifications to the spaceship specifically to come see the Dandy Egg that He-El had been holding for over a month.
"He's coming out! He's coming out! Dandy's foot is so tiny!"
When Bulma saw Dandy kick away the shell and reveal his tiny foot, she was thrilled at the sight of something so adorable. She watched excitedly as Dandy pulled his foot back inside.
Just as everyone wondered why Dandy had only kicked a hole in the shell before withdrawing his little green foot again—
"Come out. Don't be shy," He-El said with a faint smile.
Everyone smiled, finally realizing that the little fellow who had been born a month ago was feeling shy.
Then, Dandy broke open the cracked corner of the egg from within and stood up. Though he had an infant's body, he already possessed quite a bit of strength. His small, immature body had green skin, pointed ears, a bald green head, and large, lively eyes. With a solemn expression, he looked at He-El and bowed deeply. "Master He-El, Dandy greets you."
Dandy was tiny and wrinkled, looking somewhat thin, with little arms and legs. Yet faintly defined abdominal muscles could already be seen on his stomach.
He greeted He-El with great respect and politeness.
Bulma's eyes lit up. Seeing how tiny Dandy was, like a miniature grown-up, she found him incredibly amusing. Unable to resist, she scooped him up and lifted him into the air, grinning as she looked at
