Goku, Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, and Puar dragged the small reconnaissance spaceship back to the plaza at Earth One's under-ship base.
Tien Shinhan and Vegeta also came down from the command room to the under-ship base plaza, where they saw Goku, Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, and Puar gathered around the small reconnaissance ship whose engine Goku had blown up.
"It just looks like an ordinary little spaceship." Goku leaned closer and saw the ship's destroyed engine, blasted apart by his miniature Kamehameha. It gave off the scorched stench of burned metal and the foul odor produced by burning energy. It did not seem all that different from Bulma's old helicopter.
Of course, Goku had never paid attention to the differences between the two.
"You nearly destroyed this reconnaissance ship completely." Piccolo shot Goku a fierce glare.
Goku could only scratch his head with a grin. "I lowered my Ki in time. Good thing I didn't blow up the whole ship."
"Is this ship some kind of fully automated intelligent machine?" Yamcha frowned.
"The cockpit seems to be here. Only the engine exploded." Krillin pointed at a section wrapped up like an egg.
Only the engine had exploded. The cockpit was sturdy and had not been affected.
Everyone turned to look.
Tien Shinhan and Vegeta flew over as well.
"Hey, hey, is anyone in there?" Goku curiously tapped the cockpit's surface with a finger, then pressed his ear against it. He could hear a heartbeat and blood flowing inside.
"So there really is someone inside. Since he won't come out, let's destroy the cockpit too." Piccolo said coldly in a sinister voice.
"That's right. Let's just destroy it." Yamcha nodded, putting on an act.
"Agreed." Krillin said with a smile.
"Alright, then I'll do it." Puar deliberately raised his voice as
