A galaxy-like barrage of light waves shot forth from Frieza in fury, hurtling toward Goku.
"Too slow, Frieza!" Goku shouted coldly, his body wreathed in blazing aura. He charged headlong into the rain-like light waves, his figure flickering continuously through their gaps. He perfectly evaded every blast and flew straight at Frieza.
"What?! How is this possible?!" Seeing Goku rush toward him while dodging the countless light waves he had fired, Frieza's pupils contracted in terror. He cried out in despair, "Impossible!!!! You're just a remnant of the Saiyans!"
Veins bulged across Frieza's roaring face. He simply could not believe that Planet Vegeta, which he had destroyed so easily, could have produced a Super Saiyan like Goku—one whose power was even greater than his own.
