He-El controlled his suit, lifting its shield against Krypton's atmosphere. As he breathed it in again, his body suddenly felt dozens of pounds heavier.
He strode toward the command room, his black cape billowing behind him.
He was already thinking of modifying the suit. Beyond its various recovery and healing technologies, he wanted to improve its absorption of solar and cosmic radiation, let it change shape, combine kinetic and particle-energy attacks with energy absorption, and switch between shielding him from radiation and actively drawing it in. It also needed to amplify his Kryptonian powers and house a control network.
More than that, he should add a system that used his Biological Magnetic Field to manipulate elementary particles and the Four Fundamental Forces.
His vision could process the entire electromagnetic spectrum, selectively perceiving and focusing on any wavelength he wished. His Biological Magnetic Field was precise enough to reach the particle level. With technology to help him manipulate electromagnetic waves, he could control them.
Then he could reach out and pluck any electromagnetic wave he chose.
Of course, once he grew powerful enough, he would be able to do all that without instruments.
Returning to the DC World had filled He-El with ideas and plans, but he had to tackle them in order. Rushing would do no good.
He set aside his plans for the suit. There was no hurry, and he had no materials to modify it anyway.
The ship mattered more right now.
"Zero, how much longer will it take to convert the crystal core energy and thermal reactor energy into energy for the Crystal Core Engine?" He-El asked as he entered the command room.
"5,453,120 seconds," Zero replied.
Two months...
"Once the conversion is complete, will the ship have enough energy to jump to Krypton?"
He-El fell silent.
