Twenty-One Teams Begin Their Operation

He-El had thought Tony Stark would withdraw from this operation and head to Stark Industries to find Pepper Potts. Instead, Tony Stark kept his emotions in check and waited aboard the Helicarrier for the operation to begin.

Tony Stark also did not tell He-El about Pepper Potts's abnormal condition. He-El likewise acted as though he knew nothing, merely having Vivian keep an eye on the reactors at Stark Industries before continuing with the operation to capture the generals.

Time passed quickly. As everyone busied themselves preparing, planning routes, testing equipment, simulating capture scenarios, and making other preparations, the clock reached 1:50 a.m.

Everyone was fully equipped and ready to move. They were either lying in ambush at the generals' residences, hiding, disguising themselves as guards, or gearing up. For the few generals stationed at military bases, He-El used cloaked small spacecraft to transport people above the bases, ready to break in.

In the command room, He-El rose to his full height, his sharp gaze sweeping across the twenty-one screens before him. Each screen had been split into several feeds. The generals had long since been tracked by mosquito cameras deployed by He-El, every detail captured clearly. The split screens allowed him to see both the generals' positions and his team members' locations.

"Teams, report your positions!" He-El issued the command in the conference room.

"Team One has reached the target location and is awaiting orders."

"Team Two is ready."

"Team Three has no problems."

"Mr. He-El, I'm already hanging from his ceiling, hidden and in position."

"Team Five has arrived at the target location."

"Team Seven..."
