"Thanos..."
The Avengers members mulled over the name.
Tony Stark nodded. His right hand rested on the armrest as he loosened his chest slightly, while the fingers of his left hand tapped the table with a crisp sound. "Thanos... who exactly is this guy?"
Everyone turned to Stephen Strange.
"Thanos's real name is Thanos. He is one of the Eternals born on Titan, a planet renowned throughout the universe," Stephen Strange said gravely.
"Titan?"
"The Eternals?"
"Are they powerful?"
Bruce Banner voiced his question.
Stephen Strange nodded. "Though I have never met Thanos's people, Thanos is merely one of them. Taken as a whole, the Eternals of Titan should be extremely powerful."
"How powerful?"
Steve Rogers asked.
"They possess tremendous strength, endurance, and regenerative abilities that countless cosmic species find impossible to surpass. His skin is nearly indestructible, especially against cold, heat, electricity, radiation, poison, aging, and disease. He can even survive for long periods without eating anything."
Stephen Strange suddenly looked at Bruce Banner with a grave expression. Amid Banner's baffled look, he said in a low voice:
"Put it this way. The Hulk is like a baby in his hands."
The faces of the Avengers members hardened.
Although the Hulk did not appear often, everyone had truly witnessed his utterly unreasonable strength in the previous battle.
With a casual leap, he could jump fifty or sixty meters. He could even withstand the charge of a massive hundred-meter-long Leviathan head-on, leaving everyone dumbfounded.
Tony Stark had privately estimated the Hulk's strength. It was at least over eight hundred tons, a shocking figure. He was a true monster.
Automatic rifles, gunfire, aircraft cannons, and missiles could no longer break the Hulk's skin.
Yet that kind of strength was like that of an infant before Thanos.
Just how powerful was Thanos?
