"I say, if you two are going to get all lovey-dovey, shouldn't you at least do it behind people's backs?" Wu Qi sat to one side, holding a bowl and spoon, watching Li Huowang and Yang Na tightly embracing on the bed with some disgust.
Clearly, she had been sitting there the whole time. It was just that Li Huowang's attention had been entirely focused on Yang Na, and he had not noticed her at all.
"Fifth Sister, thank you for looking after me these past few days. You've worked hard."
After saying that, Yang Na immediately noticed the changes in Li Huowang's body. "Huowang, what happened to your eye? Why is one of them gone? What exactly happened?"
Li Huowang sniffed, then swept Yang Na up in a princess carry and headed outside. "Na Na, don't rush. A lot happened before this. I'll explain it to you slowly."

Looking at that trademark smile on Qing Wanglai's face, Li Huowang squeezed out "useless trash" through clenched teeth, ignored him, and went up the stairs to the third floor.
Usually he strutted around like he was somebody, but when it came down to a critical moment, he was nowhere to be found. After everything that had happened, Li Huowang realized he had thought far too highly of Qing Wanglai before.
Li Huowang held Yang Na as they sat on the sofa, softly recounting everything he had experienced into her ear.
