One pustule after another burst across the Plague Goddess's body.
Thick venom exploded from every pustule.
Yet the venom transformed into deformed, hideous little figures, like zombie miniatures. Dividing into two sides, they crashed into one another and began a brutal slaughter.
"This was the Peach Blossom Paradise Town Version of the 'zombie crisis,' a hundred times more brutal than Dragon City's zombie crisis."
The Plague Goddess continued, "The Vengeful Undead charged forward one after another, surging like a tide toward the leader and the strong ones under his command.
"Those leaders and strong ones, who had once stood high above all others—overbearing and arrogant, even carrying themselves with an immortal air—had long since been drained of most of their Spiritual Energy, strength, and resources by the monsters. They could no longer withstand the undead's assault.
"Gritting their teeth, they barely used their last scraps of strength to smash the undead to pieces, destroying them so thoroughly that even Blood Pattern Flower Spores and the Zombie Virus could not gather them back together.
"But their wounds were inevitably splashed with the cold blood sprayed from the undead, infecting them with dozens of strange new things, including new strains of Zombie Virus.
"Under the combined effects of violent Spiritual Energy and the new Zombie Virus, the leader and his strong ones also mutated.
"Their skin ulcerated, their limbs twisted, and layer upon layer of tumors gradually devoured their flesh. Their appearances became as ugly as their souls.
"Their brains were severely eroded as well, extinguishing the last trace of human reason.
"From that day onward, not a single human remained in Peach Blossom Paradise Town.
"Among the broken walls and ruins, there were only humanoid shells filled with mycelium, viruses, hatred, and desire, eternally wandering, roaming, fighting, shattering, and being reborn
