Yang Ming built the Empire Team, thwarted Tang Yuehua’s attempt to kill him, and gained the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger as his Soul Spirit. After reuniting with Ya Li, he learned that she planned to challenge Bibi Dong for the position of Pope.

• Yang Wutian and Dugu Bo killed Tang Hao and divided his Spirit Bones, while Yun Ming selected two for his Battle Armor and explained how his method could let it evolve.
• Yang Ming completed more of his Soul Bone Battle Armor, then recruited Niu Bi and established the Empire Team at Heaven Dou Royal Academy.
• Yang Ming assessed the team members in combat and gave them individual training plans, while Tang San sought out his aunt Tang Yuehua and told her Tang Hao had been killed.
• At a seminar, Yun Ming challenged Yu Xiaogang’s Martial Soul theories, and Tang Yuehua and Shi Nian plotted to assassinate Yang Ming during the academy gathering.
• Yang Ming transferred the Blood Fire Force implanted in him to Tang San, then killed Tang Yuehua after she admitted arranging his assassination.
• Seven months later, Yang Ming hunted the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger with Gu Rong and Dugu Bo, defeated it in the Life and Death Arena, and persuaded it to become his Soul Spirit, raising his cultivation to level fifty-five.
• Yang Ming reunited with Ya Li after finding her treating patients in Heaven Dou City, and the two shared what had happened while they were apart.
• Ya Li told Yang Ming that Bibi Dong had killed Qian Xunji and declared that she intended to compete for the position of Pope.

Yang Ming backed Ya Li’s bid to become Pope while leading the Empire Team through the Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Tournament. Tang San was exposed and had his Martial Souls destroyed, but he later returned in disguise to challenge Yang Ming’s team.

• Ya Li proposed taking Bibi Dong’s place as Pope, and Yang Ming agreed to support her while postponing his revenge against Bibi Dong.
• Yang Ming and Ya Li planned her succession, and he gave her the Lovesick Heartbreak Red, which raised her Wish Angel Spirit to Super Spirit level.
• Yang Ming led the Empire Team into the tournament and defeated Tang San after Tang San broke their one-on-one agreement and attacked with Blue Tyrant Academy’s fighters.
• Yang Ming exposed Tang San’s role in the Canghui Team’s injuries, and Tang San confessed before Yu Yuanzhen intervened and Salas sentenced him to lose his Martial Souls.
• Yang Ming destroyed the Spirit Origins of Tang San’s Clear Sky Hammer and Blue Silver Grass, while Qian Renxue exposed Tang San’s origins and public backlash hurt several clans and academies.
• The Empire Team finished first in the qualifying competition, and Tang Xiao returned to Clear Sky Sect before finding Tang San at Blue Tyrant Academy.
• The Empire Team won its opening Promotion Tournament match against Blazing Fire Academy, then defeated five more academies as Feng Xiaotian and Yu Tianxin prepared for a rematch.
• Tang San appeared under the name Tang Yin and challenged Yang Ming, while Feng Xiaotian began the Empire Team’s match against Thunderclap Academy by clashing with Yu Tianxin.

Yang Ming helped the Breaking Clan defeat the Clear Sky Sect and avenge its fallen members, ending with Tang Xiao’s death. After recovering from the battle, Yang Ming visited the Spirit Hall Elder Hall with Ya Li and accepted Qian Daoliu’s challenge to fight Subduing Demon Douluo.

• Feng Xiaotian defeated Yu Tianxin, and Yang Ming agreed to face Tang San in the next match.
• Tang San awakened his Blue Silver Emperor Lineage through Ah Yin’s sacrifice, then challenged Yang Ming and was nearly killed before the Empire Team completed its Promotion Tournament undefeated.
• Tang Xiao and Tang San attacked the Breaking Clan, but Yang Ming used the clan’s marks to weaken the Clear Sky fighters and helped kill the attacking elders.
• Yang Ming and his allies assaulted the Clear Sky Sect, defeated its elders, and took the surviving Clear Sky members prisoner as bait for Tang Xiao.
• Tang Xiao arrived to save his people, but Yang Ming and Dugu Bo’s poison killed the prisoners, and Yang Ming defeated Tang Xiao in their duel.
• Tang Xiao used Ring Detonation and the Great Sumeru Hammer to send Tang San away and unleash a final attack, but Yang Ming escaped the blast, and Tang Xiao died.
• Yu Xiaogang failed to persuade Yu Yuanzhen to help the Clear Sky Sect, while Yang Ming recovered and went with Ya Li to meet Qian Daoliu.
• Qian Daoliu required Yang Ming to prove himself as Ya Li’s partner, and Yang Ming chose to fight Subduing Demon Douluo immediately.

Yang Ming defeated Subduing Demon Douluo, won the Spirit Master tournament, and led the clans in bringing Spirit Hall’s corrupt officials to justice before killing Gu Li. After cultivating and setting out to find Soul Beasts for himself and Oscar, Yang Ming encountered Ao Tian, whose battle with the Demon Empress left the ship facing an enormous tsunami and a streak of black light.

• Yang Ming defeated Subduing Demon Douluo with his spear techniques, earned Qian Daoliu’s acknowledgment, and received a King Kong Baboon Torso Bone.
• Yang Ming returned to the tournament and led the Empire Team to victory over Spirit Hall Academy, then helped distribute the Spirit Bones and began training Oscar.
• Ya Li gave Yang Ming a dossier identifying Gu Li as his parents’ killer, and Yang Ming joined Yang Wudi and the clans in hunting Spirit Hall’s criminals.
• Yang Ming and Ya Li pursued Gu Li to Death Canyon, where Yang Ming killed him and absorbed the Necromantic Essence that transformed his Battle Armor.
• Tang San left with Xiao Wu for the Lake of Life, where Da Ming and Er Ming helped him overcome a bottleneck in the Clear Sky Nine Perfections.
• After reaching rank sixty, Yang Ming took Oscar and Ning Rongrong to Zhenhai City and set out for the Dragon Nest Sea Area to find Spirit Beasts.
• Yang Ming met the Mountain Sea Dragon Turtle King, Ao Tian, and offered to help him become a god, but the Demon Empress arrived and attacked Ao Tian.
• Ao Tian’s battle with the Demon Empress escalated as Yang Ming’s ship fled the waves, and a massive tsunami approached while a streak of black light flew toward him.
