Wang Jixuan drew more than a dozen Spiritual Practitioners into battle while Amina and Nierda Tamon joined humanity’s fight against the Blade Beasts. As Black Obsidian watched the battle and grew suspicious that the Great Pioneer was observing him, Wang Jixuan’s laughter signaled a sudden change in the fight.

• Wang Jixuan sent the gray-robed old man flying, then challenged the arriving Spiritual Practitioners to attack him together and claimed they would have to defeat him to learn the secret of immortality.
• Wang Jixuan told Amina to leave him behind and attack the Pillar-Class Blade Beasts; Amina called down moonlight on him, then joined Nierda Tamon in charging toward a target.
• Fu Jian’s Super Large Mecha and the other Human Faction Mechas attacked the Pillar-Class Blade Beasts as human Mechs struck Blade Beast Lairs, beginning an all-out battle across the sky, ground, and underground.
• Black Obsidian watched Ling Tong’s Mecha fight and discussed humanity’s progress with Ye Zi, then reasoned that the Great Pioneer and Black Storm might be separate beings and sensed that someone was watching them.
• Black Obsidian noticed something wrong in Wang Jixuan’s battle as Wang Jixuan laughed and declared that his opponents could not touch him.

Wang Jixuan lured the Spiritual Practitioners to a Pillar-Class Blade Beast and used its activated psionic energy and the Sea of Wraiths to unleash his first trump card. Empowered by Mara, he overwhelmed his pursuers and began hunting them, leaving the battle raging around the beast.

• Wang Jixuan fled underground toward the battlefield and warned Amina to avoid the pursuing Spiritual Practitioners.
• Wang Jixuan led the pursuers to the Third Pillar, where the Spiritual Practitioners attacked the seemingly inactive Pillar-Class Blade Beast.
• Wang Jixuan rose within the beast as its psionic energy fed the Sea of Wraiths, then blocked Black Obsidian's spear with Mara's power.
• Wang Jixuan used the Myriad Tribulation Soul Destruction Finger to cripple the leading elder and attacked the Spiritual Practitioners with a Greatsword and a black dragon.
