On the battleship König, Lieutenant General Theodor Burchardi and Major General Felix were completely focused. They both knew that the coming battle was immensely important, and not the slightest mistake could be allowed. Otherwise, the consequences would be disastrous.

"Report! Radar has detected the Island Nation fleet forty kilometers to the northwest. There are twelve large targets, identified as the enemy's Capital Ships!" the radar officer reported.

"Excellent. We've finally intercepted them. They haven't spotted us yet, have they?" Lieutenant General Theodor Burchardi asked.

"Probably not. There has been no change in the enemy ships' formation," the officer reported.

"Order all ships to prepare for battle. Concentrate our fire and take out the foremost enemy ship first!" Lieutenant General Theodor Burchardi ordered.

"Yes, General!"

After the order was issued, the German Navy Pacific Fleet's five Kaiser-class Battleships and three Derfflinger-class Battlecruisers formed a battle line, turning their broadsides toward the Island Nation Navy's Combined Fleet main force.

The Fire-control Radar was distributing data to each turret. Under the direction of the gunnery officers, the main turrets rotated, aiming at enemies dozens of kilometers away. Of course, the distance was still rather great, nearly beyond the main-gun range of these German Navy Capital Ships. It would be best to close within thirty kilometers before opening fire; that would give them a better chance of hitting.

Even so, this could almost be considered an attack beyond visual range. For these Capital Ships, it was nearly unimaginable.

Within the Island Nation Navy's Combined Fleet main force, the battleship Kii served as the flagship. After all, Kii-class Battleships were currently the most powerful Capital Ships in service with the Island Nation Navy.
