In the southeastern waters off Ponape Island, aboard the German Navy Pacific Fleet's flagship, the aircraft carrier Aries, Fleet Commander Admiral Konrad Albrecht and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Oskar Kummetz had yet to rest. Though it was already late, neither felt the slightest bit sleepy. How could they sleep while their battleship formation was locked in fierce combat with the Island Nation fleet?
"Commander, the battle situation appears extremely favorable to us! Our battleship formation has already sunk one Island Nation Capital Ship and heavily damaged another! Once the Indian Ocean Fleet's battleship formation arrives, we can wipe out all of the Island Nation fleet's Capital Ships." Lieutenant General Oskar Kummetz wore a broad smile.
The earlier loss of several hundred combat aircraft had weighed on everyone's hearts like a boulder. Now that their fleet had gained the upper hand in the confrontation, they could finally breathe a sigh of relief.
As long as the fleet could win this naval battle, ultimate victory would still belong to the German Navy.
Admiral Konrad Albrecht nodded. "Wiping out all of the Island Nation fleet's Capital Ships will not be easy. But we should be able to deal with their main force. Overall, we have still won this battle!"
"After daybreak, we can dispatch the aircraft on Ponape Island to attack. If we are lucky, we might catch the Island Nation carriers. That will be the moment to settle the victory in one stroke."
"Before dawn, dispatch seaplanes to take off. Focus the search on the waters north and northwest of Ponape Island. Once the Island Nation Carrier Fleet is found, immediately launch the land-based aircraft and Carrier-based aircraft to crush them in one blow!" Admiral Konrad Albrecht said.
With the German Navy's strength, in addition to the more than four hundred
