He was clearly standing there, yet it felt as though he was not. He was obviously far away, yet he seemed right before Hua Zhen's eyes. The sense of dissonance was overwhelming.
Who was Kiran? The owner of that voice had displayed an inexplicable wariness when mentioning him. Yes, wariness—that was what Hua Zhen had heard in its tone.
