Every Amir Star Person firmly believed that once the gods had exterminated the demons, their merciful deity would surely descend with a miracle, restoring everything to how it had been. Their dead relatives and loved ones would be revived, and the ruined city-states and capitals would be rebuilt.
But would things truly turn out as they imagined?
