The defensive fortifications of the Heavenly Dao Star System were not fixed in place and unable to move. They were essentially a massive Solar System Defense Line project that could be driven forward or pulled back.
In the brief clash with the Lieyang-Styx allied forces, New Tiangong had undoubtedly emerged victorious. During its pursuit of Lieyang and Styx, the Heavenly Blade Battleship had advanced from over one hundred Cosmic Units away to nearly half a light-year into the star system. The speed of that advance far exceeded Qiangwei's imagination.
Having grown up on Earth, the most "high-end" wars she had experienced were the Battle of Yunshan and the Battle of Juxia. Both had been against demon squads and had not even left the planet, much less China's territory. Calling them high-end was not all that accurate. At the very least, everything Qiangwei had seen and heard back then had remained within the realm of comprehension.
But after following Hua Zhen to the Heavenly Dao Star System, warfare spanning nearly a light-year had completely surpassed everything she had previously understood.
Compared to this, looking back at the Tianhe Battle made it seem like children playing house. It was on an entirely different level.
Qiangwei discovered that confrontations between Godly Civilizations were nothing like she had imagined. There were no flagship bombardments or skies full of laser beams and shuttles. What they used were all sorts of advanced technologies.
For example, this one before her:
Lieyang's defensive fortifications retreated for some distance before stopping. Having entered a region of dense stars within the system, Lieyang revealed one of its specialties.
The massive equipment forming the fortifications linked up with the various celestial engineering projects, drawing upon stellar energy to control ultra-high-speed plasma streams and create an enormous "Solar Wind Bubble" that protected
