Lian Feng had previously worked as an information officer and had enough prior contact with Qi Lin to recognize her records. She had also participated in genetic engineering, making her a suitable choice when Lin Xiao requested an experimental assistant for the Super God Project 4 6.

Du Kao left the final decision to her. Although embarrassed by the attention in the meeting, Lian Feng accepted Lin Xiao's invitation and became his assistant 4. She had already lived for more than ten thousand years by the time she began working with him 7.

Her work quickly expanded beyond ordinary laboratory assistance. She supplied Lin Xiao with Dark Alloy synthesis technology, assisted his gene-enhancement research, mastered micro-wormhole transport, and helped create anti-spatial-analysis protections for his alloys 7 14 17.

Lian Feng is disciplined, pragmatic, and strongly duty-oriented. Even when burdened by Lin Xiao's demanding behavior, she continues coordinating laboratory work, personnel transfers, equipment development, and operational plans 7 18.

She can be blunt and quick-tempered, particularly when emotionally provoked. The emotional fog exposes her fear of abandonment and jealousy toward Lin Xiao's relationship with Qi Lin, leading her to violently confront him 25. Nevertheless, she repeatedly sets aside personal feelings when Earth’s security requires it, including accepting Lin Xiao's engagement to Leina as a strategically valuable alliance 29.

As a commander, she remains composed under severe pressure. Airport Attack and Hulk Incident

She accompanies Lin Xiao during the airport ambush and enters the Xia Lan Mecha's dual mode despite not being a dedicated combatant 10. When the Hulk overwhelms Lin Xiao, she attempts to take control of the fight, evacuates to restore communications, then returns to remove his armor and save him through emergency nutrition 11 12.

Super Soldier Company Adjutant
