Background / History

Twenty thousand years before the main events, He Xi encountered the dying Lin Xiao in an Earth desert during a battle with Su Mali. After Lin Xiao attempted to save her and was fatally wounded, her system identified him as an Earth human with 15% brain development and a 100% data match. When a blue energy surge sealed him in an unbreakable crystal, He Xi took the crystal away from Earth rather than abandon him. 180

He Xi waited for Lin Xiao through his long crystal-bound sleep. News of his engagement to Leina later provoked her to reconsider her isolation; Keisha urged her to settle her past and pursue what she wanted. 30 She secretly observed Lin Xiao on Earth before personally bringing him to her palace, a space-time bubble located on Earth. 54 55

At the palace, He Xi revealed Lin Xiao's deteriorating condition and offered to create an Angel Gene or God River Super Gene for him. He refused, believing in the potential of his own path. She recognized that his brain had surpassed Angel development while his body had failed to keep pace. 55

He Xi then recited the Angel Guardian Vow, stepping back from routine Angel Civilization affairs to become Lin Xiao's guardian angel.
