Quan Junshan revealed that the star’s power consumed people’s lifespans, and Asuka charged toward the platform to stop him.

  • Konan confronted Asuka over his relationship with Pakura, but Ichikishimahime repeatedly sent her crashing into him as the group traveled toward the Land of Bears.
  • Asuka discovered that his mission had taken him through a needless poisonous-mist detour and that his captain had concealed the Land of Bears’ ongoing conflict.

Asuka stopped Quan Junshan’s sacrifice of Bear Three Town’s citizens and learned that Quan had acted to extend Natsuhi’s life. Back in Konoha, the Uchiha debated reviving dead Hokage as Itachi grew wary of the clan’s extremism and Danzo tried to shape his views.

  • Asuka confronted Quan Junshan, who trapped Bear Three Town’s citizens in purple mist and drained their lifespans to sustain Natsuhi.
  • Asuka fought Quan Junshan while Kushina protected Natsuhi, then learned that Quan had sacrificed only three days from each citizen and had acted to save Natsuhi.
  • Asuka summoned Susanoo for Quan Junshan’s final challenge, and afterward treated the citizens and unconscious Hoshigakure ninja while the survivors praised him.
