Overview

The God Realm is the highest point of its cosmic order, governing the gods and maintaining the rules they must follow. Its Committee monitors planets across its star domain through light screens, each showing a different mortal world or landscape. 1

It is a world that is both spiritual and material in nature. The Power of Faith sustains its existence and development, while also increasing the cultivation speed and strength of gods connected to it through God Positions. 205

Following the Dragon God War, many gods perished and part of the God Realm's territory was destroyed, substantially reducing its size. 55

Governance

God Realm Committee

The God Realm Committee judges the gods, governs the realm, and enforces its rules. Its main hall is octagonal, with shifting scenes displayed across its walls; these screens are used to observe the mortal planets under the God Realm's watch. 1

During the Netherworld incident, the Committee's assembly included the Five Great God Kings and eighteen main gods. 313

The Five Great God Kings

The Five Great God Kings embody the supreme laws of destruction, life, evil, kindness, and judgment. Judgment is associated with the Asura God. 315

Laws and Divine Systems

• Lower-realm non-interference — Gods are forbidden from improperly intervening in mortal worlds. Asura God's interference with Douluo Star leads to a God Realm Committee investigation and punishment. 204
• God Positions — A suitable mortal may inherit a divine position and become a god upon reaching Level 100. A person may inherit only one God Position. 55 180

History

After the Dragon God War, the God Realm imprisoned the Golden Dragon King at its core. The conflict also caused the deaths of numerous gods and the destruction of part of the realm's territory. 1 55

The God Realm imposed restrictions on soul beasts, preventing their race from becoming Plane Masters. This policy contributed to the absence of a Plane Master on Douluo Continent for generations. 123

When Dugu Chen demonstrated compatibility with both the Earth God's and Fire God's God Positions, several gods observed him through a divine light screen. Destruction and Life allowed the two First-Tier Gods to compete for him as a successor. 55

After Dugu Chen sealed Douluo Star, the God Realm lost contact with its lower realm and the Earth God could no longer sense his inheritance artifact. The Committee investigated the incident, punished Asura for his interference, and allowed Douluo Star's seal to remain for ten years. 204

Conflict with the Netherworld

The construction of Dugu Chen's Netherworld created a fluctuation felt across the entire God Realm. The sharp decline in Poseidon's faith from Douluo Star and the realm-wide disturbance prompted the Committee to investigate. 312

When the God Kings witnessed the completed Netherworld, they recognized that it provided a destination for the dead but also ended the God Realm's position as the sole supreme divine realm. Dugu Chen had already attained strength comparable to a God King through his authority over reincarnation. 313

Dugu Chen demanded that the God Realm cease obstructing the Netherworld's expansion. The other God Kings ultimately accepted a temporary settlement: Asura would no longer target Dugu Chen, other gods would withdraw from Douluo Star, and the Netherworld's future expansion would be discussed rather than immediately opposed. 318

Golden Dragon King Crisis

The Golden Dragon King escaped his seal and ravaged the God Realm, killing dozens of gods, including a First-Tier God and several Second-Tier Gods. The Five Great God Kings and other powerful deities fought to contain him. 319

Dugu Chen later captured the Golden Dragon King and brought him into the Netherworld. Destruction and Evil entered the Netherworld to assess it, eventually agreeing to assist Dugu Chen after recognizing that its Six Paths and eighteen hells could provide major benefits to the wider universe. 321

Cooperation with the Netherworld

Dugu Chen proposed that the Netherworld's Heavenly Dao oversee the reincarnation of fallen gods. Under his plan, gods who reincarnated could retain their experience and memories, increasing their chances of ascending again rather than beginning entirely from nothing. 321

The Netherworld's eventual structure is projected to include six paths comparable to First-Tier God Positions and eighteen hells that may become positions for Eighteen Great God Kings. 321
