Tang San revealed that he possessed Twin Martial Souls to Grandmaster, who recognized his exceptional potential and accepted him as a disciple. Dugu Chen identified Tang San's Blue Silver Grass as unusual and noted that Twin Martial Souls required closely matched quality. 18

Following the conflict between Tang Hao and Dugu Bo at Nuoding City, Grandmaster took Tang San to Shrek Academy. There, Tang San no longer needed to forge for Xiao Wu's expenses and devoted more time to cultivation and Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer practice. 63

Before the Advanced Soul Master Tournament, Tang San and Grandmaster planned for all of his Clear Sky Hammer rings to be ten-thousand-year rings.
