Lucy Joins the Guild

The next day, Ye Yang and the others finally returned to the Fairy Tail guild.

Lucy looked at the guild building, unable to suppress her excitement.

(So this is Fairy Tail.)

Just as Lucy thought Natsu was about to open the door, he kicked it wide open.

"I'm back!!"

The Bucktooth Guy immediately teased Natsu when he saw him return. "You caused another huge mess at Hargeon Port, huh?"

"HAHAHA."

The moment Natsu saw him, his temper flared.

He walked up and sent him flying with a single punch.

The Bucktooth Guy angrily shouted, "Why'd you hit me?!"

"The information you gave me was fake!"

"Huh?! I only heard that the Fire Dragon had been spotted there. How was I supposed to know whether it was true or not?!"

The entire guild immediately descended into chaos.

Lucy blankly stared at everything happening before her. The guild had been perfectly fine just moments ago, yet now everyone was fighting.

Just then, Mirajane walked over to Lucy.

"Oh my, you're the one Natsu brought back? It's the first time he's ever brought someone here."

Lucy looked at the beautiful Mirajane, who was smiling as she greeted her.

"It's Mirajane herself!"

Seeing the chaos around them, Lucy awkwardly asked, "Um, shouldn't we stop them?"

"Huh? Isn't this pretty fun?" As soon as she finished speaking, Elfman came flying in from afar and crashed straight into Mirajane.

"See? Isn't it fun?" Before her words had even faded, a soul floated out of Mirajane's mouth.

"Miss Mirajane--!!!"

"Ye Yang! Ye Yang! Hurry and save Miss Mirajane!"

Ye Yang raised his head to look at Mirajane pinned beneath Elfman, then rolled over.

"Ehh--!! How coldhearted!"

Just then, Gray suddenly appeared beside Lucy completely naked.

"Miss, could I borrow your underwear?"

"Pervert!"

Lucy whipped out the Top of the Ten Weapons Folding Stool and sent Gray flying with it.

He was then steadily caught in Loke's arms.

"One must always be gentlemanly toward ladies."

Elfman had somehow already woken up and punched Loke away.

"A real man!"

Lucy looked around the guild and realized that not a single person there was normal. Then a shadow suddenly loomed over her.

Lucy turned around and discovered a giant with glowing eyes.

"Aahhh!!"

Mirajane slowly got to her feet. "Oh my, Guild Master, you're here."

Lucy exclaimed in shock, "G-Guild Master?!"

Everyone instantly fell silent. Only Natsu was still acting cocky, and Makarov promptly stomped him flat.

Ye Yang had been dozing off when he suddenly noticed the silence around him. Opening his eyes, he looked up.

"Old Man, when did you get so tall?"

Furious, Makarov raised his right foot and stomped Ye Yang and his chair flat.

Ye Yang's entire body split into four pieces, while his head rolled right to Lucy's feet.

"This is insane!! Murder!!"

Makarov turned his fierce gaze toward Lucy, making her shudder.

"You're the newcomer?"

(???)!! "N-No...!"

The giant's body suddenly shrank, and in an instant, he became a smiling old man.

Seeing the contrast, Lucy immediately blurted out, "So small!"

Makarov pushed off with his foot and stylishly flipped up to the second floor.

"Bang!"

"Without paying attention, he crashed right into the railing."

"Pfft!"

In the previously silent guild, that sudden sound drew everyone's attention to Ye Yang, who was now nothing but a head on the floor.

Σ(?д?|||)?? "A corpse came back to life--!!!" Lucy screamed in panic. She had no idea what was going on. In just a few minutes in this guild, everything she knew had been completely overturned.

"Ahem, continue, continue."

As soon as Ye Yang spoke, Mirajane kicked his head straight into the wall. It shattered into specks of light, which then gathered together again to form Ye Yang.

"Mirajane, if you ruin my face and I can't find a wife later, will you marry me?"

"Oh my, what are you saying in public?" Mirajane's face flushed as she ran back to her bar counter.

The entire guild immediately began cheering.

"Oohhh--!!!"

After shooting Ye Yang a look, Makarov pulled out a stack of papers from behind his back.

"Quiet!" The moment he spoke, the guild instantly returned to silence.

"You bastards got this old man scolded by those Council people again!"

"First, Gray. Someone reported you for indecent behavior. Not only did you walk around naked, you even stole clothes from someone's house!"

Gray protested, "What, was I supposed to stay naked?"

Elfman remarked, "Then don't take your clothes off."

"And Cana, you drank from the client's wine cellar and even left behind the Council's name!"

Cana said, "Damn it! They found out?"

"And Elfman, you actually attacked the client."

Elfman clicked his tongue. "Tch, who told him to say that a real man had to learn how to read a calendar?"

"And the most infuriating one is Ye Yang! You destroyed half of Harujion Port just to capture a group of human traffickers!"

Ye Yang stared at Makarov with a bewildered expression.

"Old Man, I'm warning you, don't just make things up. Watch out, or I'll sue you for slander!"

"He's slandering me! He's slandering me!!"

"Those were obviously things Natsu did! What does that have to do with me?!"

Makarov ignored Ye Yang completely. He burned the papers in his hand and tossed them into the air, where Natsu caught them.

"Let the Council eat this crap!"

"Listen up! The power that surpasses perseverance comes entirely from unwavering conviction. Magic is not some miraculous power. It is power made manifest when the flow within our bodies merges with the flow of nature. It comes through mental strength and concentration—no! Only by pouring your entire soul into it can magic take form. If you keep worrying about the eyes of those in high places, you will never improve your magic! Don't be afraid of those Council fools. Move forward on the path you believe in! That is what it means to be a Fairy Tail wizard!"

"Oohhh--!!!"

Lucy looked at the guild before her and was suddenly moved. "Mom, I think I joined an amazing guild."

After Makarov's impressive speech, everyone returned to their usual selves once more.

Mirajane then stamped Lucy's emblem onto her hand, and Lucy immediately ran excitedly over to Natsu.

"Natsu, look! It's my emblem!"

Natsu did not even glance at it. "Oh~ Congratulations, Louise."

(?ò?ó) "It's Lucy! How many times do I have to tell you before you get it?!"

Just as Natsu was about to pick a job, a child walked up to Makarov.

"Why hasn't my dad come back yet? He said three days, but it's already been a whole week, and he still hasn't returned."

Makarov looked at the little boy. "You're quite a noisy one, Romeo. As the son of a wizard, you should trust your father. Go home and wait obediently for him to return."

"Damn it!"

Romeo angrily punched Makarov, then ran out crying.
