"Body Strengthening Manual (Blue)" and "A Bite of Medieval Times"

Ted was feeling childish too. When the mood struck, he put on a performance for everyone.

Taking advantage of the crowded break between classes, Ted respectfully asked a suit of armor for directions.

Then he quietly channeled his Magic Power and controlled the armor to raise its hand and point.

"Oh, so it's that way. Got it, thanks." Looking enlightened, he headed off in the direction the armor was pointing.

This scene seriously misled the newly enrolled students. A group of Little Wizards surrounded the armor and questioned it for half an hour without getting any response. Some of them went to ask Ted for advice.

Ted's explanation was, "You have to be polite, sincere, and ask from the bottom of your hearts."

The next day, the armor was covered in all kinds of gifts, from trinkets and necklaces to cloaks and scarves. A group of Little Wizards was showing their sincerity.

It only ended when the thoroughly annoyed Filch carried the armor away.

When the Little Wizards suddenly discovered that the armor was gone, they were completely bewildered.

Ted sighed. "Sigh, there were too many of you. The armor got tired of being questioned, so it left on its own~"

The Little Wizards suddenly understood and regretted it bitterly.

Ted: Tricking first-years is so much fun~ Later, when the Twins heard about it, they had already considered Ted an expert at stirring things up. Now they were even more interested and wholeheartedly invited him to join their prank organization—which they had decided on the spot to establish.

Ted: What a joke! You two are already on Dumbledore's list. I'm an Academy Model, a proper Good Student. How could I possibly associate with the likes of you and disappoint the professors? Though giving you ideas behind the scenes might be fine~ ...

After two weeks of school life, the Little Wizards had all gained quite a lot.

Ron had wolfed down dozens of chicken legs, and Jerry had eaten several basins of cheese. Anzu kept stuffing himself with Fries nonstop~ Neville had earned Professor Sprout's appreciation in Herbology and found his interests and strengths. He often took advantage of his free time to help out in the greenhouses.

Hermione had already taught herself several subjects and, with Ted's help, learned several spells ahead of schedule.

Harriett, meanwhile, had put on her inherited Invisibility Cloak and begun carrying out the great nighttime wanderings her father had done back in the day.

On Monday of the third week, she mysteriously told her friends that she knew what was in the corridor on the right side of the third floor.

"Behind the door is a huge Cerberus!" She really was a restless one~ As for Ted himself, he had become absorbed in the library. He completed his reading task and copied one hundred books.

"Ding~ Completed mission: The Ladder of Wizarding Progress (Blue). Reward obtained: 400 experience, Body Strengthening Manual (Blue) card."

Body Strengthening Manual (Blue)

Item Card

This manual recorded the secrets of health maintenance and diet, and its words possessed magical power.

If you exercised according to the knowledge in this book for three days, you would gain a +2 Constitution bonus.

Uses: 1/1.

It was Ted's first time seeing this kind of single-use Item Card.

After using the card, it became a booklet patterned in blue, containing knowledge and requirements related to diet and fitness.

After memorizing everything, Ted began trying to exercise according to the manual's instructions. To do so, he even cut back on the time he spent going to the library and practicing magic.

Hermione had quite a few objections to this. "Are you going to give up your wand and start swinging your fists in the future?"

Ted smiled and explained, "A strong body is your capital. You'll understand someday~"

Ted began exercising according to the manual, while Harriett and the others started causing trouble again.

Harriett: "I have a new plan..."

That evening, Harriett challenged Malfoy to a duel. Whoever failed to show up was a coward! Malfoy had been seething for more than two weeks and had long wanted to restore his reputation, so he agreed without hesitation.

The location for the duel was the corridor on the right side of the third floor.

What could one say? That was downright vicious~ In the middle of the night, Malfoy led his two lackeys to the door and pushed it open aggressively, only to run headlong into a truck-sized Cerberus drooling at the three of them! Malfoy's eyes went blank as he muttered, "An illusion! It's all an illusion! You can't scare me!"

His legs were so weak that he could not take a step, trembling as violently as a sieve. Even his robes were shaking.

After freezing for three seconds, Goyle and Crabbe, his two lackeys, dropped onto the floor and fled screaming for their mothers and fathers, scrambling away on all fours. They shrieked like pigs being slaughtered in the corridor, directly drawing Filch over.

This cost Slytherin thirty points, and Malfoy's trio as well as Harriett, who had arranged the duel, were all given detention.

Filch assigned Malfoy's trio to clean toilets, while Harriett was summoned by Snape to help process potions.

Ted had assumed it would be some disgusting work like handling Slugs or the innards and brains of magical creatures! Yet it turned out she was just using a balance scale to measure potion portions, then packaging them separately!

Did this even count as detention?

Although Snape did not say a single kind word throughout the whole thing, he had already gone completely soft!

Where was Snape's venomous tongue?

Ted could already imagine what would have happened if he had not deliberately drawn Snape's attention during the first class.

Snape: "Harriett, where would I find a bezoar?"

Harriett: "Sorry, Professor, I don't know."

Snape: "Honesty! Ten points to Gryffindor!"

Ted spent three days completing the training exercises in the "Body Strengthening Manual" and gained the +2 Constitution effect.

Then the manual turned into a streak of blue light and vanished.

On the morning of September 19, Hermione saw Anzu in the dormitory.

Anzu flew in through the window carrying a copy of "Aesop's Fables" and a note from Ted.

Hermione unfolded the note. It read: Happy birthday~ Today was Hermione's birthday. She had been born in 1979, and because her birthday was after September 1, she had started school a year later than Harriett and the others.

"Ha! Thank you, Anzu, and Ted!" Hermione held up the book and examined it carefully, delighted.

At that moment, her Owl arrived as well. Her parents had sent her birthday gifts and a letter.

Nearly twenty days of life at Hogwarts had left Hermione deeply affected.

Before, she had been constantly studying and had not thought much about it, but now that she reflected on it, she still missed home a little.

Fortunately, she had made quite a few friends at school, so she was not lonely.

For children this age, twenty days was truly not a short time. Sometimes, it could even make people feel as though they had been old friends for years.

Take Neville, for example. He often asked Ted for help with problems or asked him for advice. More often than not, he received excellent suggestions, or just the right encouragement and comfort. It moved him immensely.

Before attending school, he had never experienced this feeling. He loved school so much! He loved these friends!

He felt that he did not understand anything and wondered whether Muggle children really received such amazing education.

Ted and Hermione were both like this. Harriett and Ron were stronger than him too, but they were not this far ahead!

He had even decided that if he had children in the future, he would definitely send them to a Muggle primary school first, then let them enter Hogwarts at eleven.

At Ted's suggestion, he began keeping a diary every day, recording important events and thoughts so he would not forget them.

Unlike the other friends, his favorite classes were Herbology, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and A History of Magic.

He truly loved herbs, and Professor Sprout appreciated him greatly.

For the first time, he felt that attending class could be so wonderful. Every time he looked at the timetable, he eagerly awaited Herbology.

He liked Defense Against the Dark Arts because Professor Quirrell's performance made him feel deeply understood.

If he became a professor in the future, he would probably get nervous and stutter too, right? What am I thinking? How could I possibly become a professor? I should thank heaven if I can graduate successfully.

Finally, A History of Magic was peaceful and completely pressure-free.

Professor Binns never called on anyone. That alone was merciful enough and helped him relax a great deal. He probably had not even remembered Neville's name.

Twenty days had brought gains to all the friends.

Neville had become much steadier. The gaps in his heart had been somewhat mended, and he had begun to grow.

Ron was no longer the most overlooked little nobody in his family, cared about only by his third sister. Now, he had many friends.

Jerry was no longer the trembling odd one out among the Mouse-Ear Race. He had become a wizard, someone his people would be proud of. And his friends did not care about his ears or tail.

Harriett had found playmates and was finally no longer wandering alone through the enormous Black Family Manor. It felt wonderful to have people to share joy with.

Hermione had also begun gradually integrating into the magical world. She no longer viewed everything through the mindset of a top Muggle student. She had learned many things from Ted beyond mere knowledge.

At dinner, the friends learned that it was Hermione's birthday and all offered their blessings.

Ted even took the lead in singing the "birthday song." Harriett and the others had never heard a Muggle birthday song before, and when they joined in, it was utterly all over the place!

But Hermione was still very happy. Her parents were not by her side, but her friends were.

Anzu kept "getting some Fries" beside them, devouring an entire plate until he could not even fly anymore.

Ted, meanwhile, told the classmates who had gathered around to watch and offer their blessings about the interesting food culture of the Muggle Middle Ages.

He had read a book called "Shepherd's Calendar," which recorded information about medieval food and drink. It contained a great deal of medieval culinary culture, as well as plenty of bizarre things.

This kind of legendary gossip, so closely related to everyday life, was simply too captivating.

Ted drew on his old profession, making it sound as though he had transmigrated into a feel-good medieval chef novel called "A Bite of Medieval Times"—fighting wild wolves, saving the poor, battling vicious servants, only for an evil master to arrive after the servant was beaten. Then he publicly rebuked the evil master and stripped him of all dignity. The man tried to retaliate, but Ted attracted the count's daughter with his food, earned the count's appreciation, and entered noble society...

Everyone listened in complete fascination!

Little Wizards: Update faster, I can't sleep at night! This has the potential for ten thousand subscriptions! It'll definitely become legendary once it's finished!

Then Ted made up all sorts of things about the distinctive cuisines of various Muggle countries that he knew about. His vivid descriptions, complete in color, aroma, and flavor, made quite a few Little Wizards start swallowing.

Hufflepuff, whose students at the next table had their ears stretched long listening in, asked regretfully, "Why weren't you sorted into Hufflepuff? This isn't right!"

Ted seemed to realize why the Sorting Hat had thought he was suited to Hufflepuff as well. They really were quite compatible.
