Chapter 70: The Main Plot Returns? "A Dragon Egg?!" Harriett blurted out.

Hagrid froze for a moment, then broke into a delighted grin. "Harriett, you recognize it?!"

Harriett nodded. "It really is a Dragon Egg! I'd only seen similar patterns in books before."

Ted was a little envious of Harriett. The combined libraries of the Potter and Black Family were an enormous treasure trove.

Just think about how the Marauders had created the Marauder's Map and become Animagi while still students. That had everything to do with the deep foundations of those two families.

Now Harriett had all that within easy reach~ Hagrid looked as though he had found a kindred spirit, beaming like a three- or four-hundred-pound child.

"Yes, a Dragon Egg! The real deal! This is a Norwegian Ridgeback egg, very precious~" His voice was filled with joy and pride.

Perhaps it was in his nature, but he especially liked—or rather, was obsessed with—those huge, ferocious beasts!

"Artificially hatching a Dragon Egg isn't easy. I have to turn it every three hours, and I've prepared lots of related books too!" He pointed at the stack of books on the table nearby.

These were books on raising dragons that Hagrid had borrowed from the library, though it was hard to say how reliable they were.

"Fire Dragons: From Birth to Being Made into Tools"

"Raising Fire Dragons for Fun and Profit"

"From Dragon Egg to Being Burned to Death"

"Guide to Raising Fire Dragons"

Well, they didn't look very reliable.

At any rate, Ted didn't think feeding a hatchling whiskey mixed with chicken blood sounded like a proper recipe.

Come to think of it, he had a Dragon Egg too!

And it was a red dragon egg from Azeroth, far superior to a fire dragon egg.
