Lu Xing left the dining room and walked briskly through the castle. The pearl gauze curtain bounced atop his head, making faint tinkling sounds.
He really did not know how merrily those pearl ornaments would bounce on Anne's head when she walked with such springy steps.
"Anne is resting today, right?"
Lu Xing asked the maid.
"Miss Anne's esteemed prospective Fiancé, what would you like to do?"
Catherine replied respectfully.
But from what Lu Xing knew of her, who knew how this maid was mocking him in her heart.
"Anything is fine. Oh, right, I want to go out and look around the city. I've come here twice already, but I haven't gone out to have fun yet."
"Did Miss Anne spend time in your city?"
"She's been at school the whole time. Once she gets familiar with it, going out won't be a problem."
At the very least, she would not be as clueless about the city as Jiang Xuannv and the Fairy.
Catherine said evenly, "Miss Philys wishes to meet you. I suggest that you make time to see her today; it will benefit you. Also, Anne has a Riding Lesson scheduled this afternoon. If you do not wish to attend, I can cancel it for you. Aside from those two matters, the rest is up to you."
Lu Xing nodded. "Although I'd like to attend the Riding Lesson, I don't know how to ride a horse. Can I practice riding during the lesson?"
Catherine gave him a long look before calmly saying, "You know mathematics but cannot ride a horse. That truly is strange. However, considering the current circumstances, I suggest you practice riding. Attend the Riding Lesson as planned, but do not join the others in their practice."
"Fine, go... please arrange it."
