Lu Xing had no time to help her.
First, Anne had been suddenly called on by the teacher and was still a little dazed after standing up. Second, she could barely understand what the teacher was asking—something about inserting a pointer P pointing to a node at the head of a singly linked list. She understood absolutely nothing!
"It's fine. I'm the one getting embarrassed anyway!"
Lu Xing comforted her.
Anne burst out laughing and asked him, "Is the knowledge Lu Xing-sensei studies basically the same as magic on Earth? Anne has observed carefully. The things phones and computers can do are no worse than magic."
The first time she used a phone to contact Miss Xiao Yu, she had thought it was a magical item. Only after asking Miss Xiao Yu did she learn that it ran on electricity and contained not the slightest trace of magic power.
"They do look similar, but I don't understand magic at all, so I can't say for sure."
"Anne will study phones, and Lu Xing-sensei will study magic. Together, we'll change the world!"
The Noble Lady's tone brimmed with energy.
But from Lu Xing's current observations of several worlds, their cultivation systems simply were not compatible!
Their experience could still be used as reference, though.
After they finished chatting, Anne continued her lesson while Lu Xing flipped through several books in her study.
A while later, Catherine came in to report, "Lady Philys has invited you over as a guest."
"She has time now? Fine. Have someone prepare a box of blueberry-flavored cream cheese for me and freeze it with Ice Magic."
"Did Miss Anne tell you?"
Catherine was not surprised. She merely gave him another look before going off to make preparations.
When she returned to the study, Lu Xing frowned.
