"Last Sage?"
"Rumble!"
It was both because of the Ancient Observer's "reminder" and because the Forty-One Origin Divine Race were very close to Tang Qi.
The Eye of Origin they possessed began to exert its authority. As the black mud clamored and howled, raising world-covering tsunamis, Tang Qi felt as though he was being "seen through."
From his body to his soul, every secret seemed to have lost its cover and was about to be perceived by those forty-one arrogant, crude Giants.
What pained Tang Qi most was the Giant at the very front. He was a truly exalted existence, towering above all things. The black mud that had once caused Tang Qi tremendous trouble scrambled over itself merely to prostrate beneath his feet.
He had no need for a concrete form. Whenever any Life Form observed him, its cognition would be irreversibly and brutally altered.
"King of the Origin Divine Race, Supreme God who rules the stars, Dark Side Monarch above Boundless Mystery, master of the Darkest World, origin of the Authority Power of all beings and Boundless Itself... we do not fear your wrath, but we respect your authority. However, as you know, we were merely passing through."
"If ranked according to the secrets on the Last Sage, then your anger should not be directed at us either."
"Let us state it again: we were merely passing through."
After the Ancient Observer from the Founders' Council's group of six uttered those words, which were clearly an attempt to shirk responsibility and carried a trace of mockery, they departed without hesitation.
Strangely, they did not take Rose Madeline with them.
But no one cared about that now. The Giant Tree of Light that had torn apart the darkness vanished, and the Giants' gazes locked onto Tang Qi once more.
