She wore no jewelry, only a blue pleated dress. Her blonde hair was pinned up, and she wore delicate women's glasses. She looked about thirty-four or thirty-five, carrying the air of strength and wisdom that could only be forged through suffering and tempered by time.
Yet at this moment, she seemed to be in a state of terror, as though she had uncovered something unimaginably horrifying.
