A Belated Summary, What the New Arc Will Be About, and a Day Off

To keep everyone from beating me up, I'll put the reason for taking leave first. I was in terrible shape today. What I wrote was so awful that even I thought it was complete garbage, so I won't upload it and foul everyone's eyes. Filler isn't my style. Mysterious Witch is already over 1.7 million characters long, and Fat Fish dares to say I've never padded out a single chapter—I've written every one of them seriously.

The detailed outline for the new arc was already there. Fat Fish thought it shouldn't be hard to write, but after getting started, I still felt somewhat emotionally disconnected. It was especially bad today. I wrote until I felt like throwing up and only managed half a chapter, but it didn't have the impact I wanted. So I've chosen to rest today. Please forgive me.

As for a summary of the previous arc, "Mysterious Male Witch," when I started it, I only wanted to achieve one effect: to have Tang Qi establish a mysterious, powerful image in the Transcendental World as a wizard. Every dungeon, major incident, and foreshadowing served that purpose. It ultimately concluded with the Thorn Incident, and I think the goal was achieved fairly well.

My only regret is that I don't think the parts about him being a principal had enough weight. At the time, I thought everyone might not enjoy development-focused content and would prefer all kinds of adventures, so I didn't devote too much space to it.

But the school storyline will not truly end. Most of the characters there will still interact in the new arc, and I'll put more effort into it. The principal's brief career has come to an end, and what awaits him is the truly magnificent Era of Madness.
