Rose Madeline stood frozen where she was, staring in near disbelief at her "husband" as he walked toward her, roaring and howling. She had never seen, not even dreamed, that the face that should have smiled at her forever would become the frenzied visage before her.

She could not judge how much of her husband Howard Rowling's will remained within the body before her.

At this moment, she could find no better way.
