Black-Clad Agents

In the boundless, voidlike "Mystery," an exquisite yet bizarre wooden boat sailed at tremendous speed.

On the boat, the ferryman rowed with all his might. The boat lamp glowed faintly, illuminating the three little fellows cheering their master on.

At that moment, all four master-and-servant figures wore lingering looks of fear.

The same scene remained in their minds:

Separated by only a layer of void barrier, enormous lantern-like eyes blinked, flashing blue as they stared at the departing "Ship of Fools." In the darkness, countless tentacles brimming with powerful Transcendental Power swayed... terrifying Great Octopuses were arriving one after another from unimaginably far away.

Led by the original blue Monarch Octopus, they all sent Tang Qi enthusiastic messages urging him to stay.

Then, none of them received a reply from Tang Qi.

They could only watch helplessly as their "good friend" aboard the Ship of Fools sailed away... Since they were still on different planets, they could only use projections to keep Tang Qi there for now. Apart from the first one that tried to give chase, the other Monarch Octopuses lacked the ability.

"Good friend, why are you so cold and heartless?"

"Could the rumors have been wrong? Shouldn't the owner of the Ship of Fools be wise, loving, and full of curiosity?"

"Yeah, that friend hasn't even heard about the deeds of our Great Monarch. Why did he leave already?"

"I even prepared a gift: an eyeball from a Chaos Monster. Looks like I'll have to eat it myself. It really tastes pretty good, kind of like 'chicken,' as humans would put it."

Above the void, Tang Qi held an oar. He had the three little fellows stand watch while he took a brief rest.
