In the outskirts of Messer City, Klaus Lovich wandered through the Rotten Truffle Forest with great interest. He had arrived in this gloomy city with its unique charm several hours earlier.

As one of the forty Furnace Witches, he had fully integrated into the Transcendental World. There was no trace left of the down-and-out painter he had once been.
