Yuu hoped Naruto could become a refined, well-mannered child, just as Minato had been in his youth.
But what Minato really wanted to complain about was that Naruto's personality had obviously taken after Kushina. Yet Kushina was still dissatisfied, blaming it on his poor parenting.
"I'll head to the office first, Jiraiya-sensei. Sorry about this." Jiraiya had nearly rubbed the skin off his face as he repeatedly used various things to wipe away the paint. Minato glanced aside. These past few days, the execution of the Saiki Manhunt Order had made his workload explode.
Minato had been so busy that he did not even have time to sleep. He had only come home because there was an important document at home to retrieve; otherwise, he would not have had the time to return at all. "Oh, go ahead. Work is more important."
Jiraiya paused in wiping his face, walked over to Minato, and patted him on the shoulder. "Jiraiya-sensei, is something wrong?"
His broad face, smeared with paint, wore a smile that looked somewhat comical. Minato looked at Jiraiya, yet he felt that his teacher was hiding something from him.
"Could I have something to worry about? As Hokage, Konoha's affairs are the most important." As he spoke, Jiraiya gave Minato a slap on the shoulder.
Jiraiya's expression stiffened before he forced out a laugh. "Fine, then get back to work. There's still plenty to arrange. If you need anything, Jiraiya-sensei, make sure to tell me." Minato shook his weary head and spoke slowly. Jiraiya nodded, then went to say goodbye to Kushina. Minato nodded tiredly. "Honestly, you've only been back for such a short time, and you're already going back to work. Can't the office function without you? You don't know how to take care of yourself at all!"
