Reunion with Chiron and Atalanta
Not long after leaving, Rovi didn't feel much emotion when he stepped into this area again.
Although he has already accomplished quite a lot in this short period of time.
But that's probably how heroes are: coming and going, without a fixed abode.
Rovi's feet left the deck and landed steadily on the floor, where he stood and gazed at the undulating mountains and forests before him.
"Let's go find Chiron first... he should know exactly where Paradise is."
First, find Enkidu.
He continued his 'self-destructive' plan.
That's what Rovi thought.
With this thought in mind, he headed toward the location of Peleon Cave.
Without the centaurs blocking his way, Rovi reached his destination more easily this time.
At that very moment, in the Peleon Cave, because of the previous violent tremors, Chiron remained motionless for a whole day and night, gazing at the starry sky of his soul, searching for the 'destiny' that had come his way.
Chiron, a centaur, was born with the ability to prophesy.
He can look at the present, observe the future, and find the most probable event from among countless future possibilities.
This is his 'power'—the power of a complete 'god' born of the former Titan King Cronus and the Water Goddess Philyra.
He is a deity with a fully manifested physical body.
The centaur is only their appearance; the reason they are considered the centaurs is simply because he grew up among them.
Therefore, even though the arrival of the sage is a good thing for Chiron personally, as a member of the Tentacles of the Realm and a god, he must be wary of any changes.
Past, future, a series of changes.
"The Sage Rovi— "
"How did you know I was coming?" The voice from outside the cave interrupted Chiron's 'prophecy,' and he suddenly opened his eyes.
Sunlight streamed down from outside the cave, illuminating the spacious area covered with soft, withered grass. Fine dust drifted within the concentrated beams of light as a figure stepped in, his long robes swaying.
"Oh, you're making a prophecy!" Rovi glanced at the starlight that hadn't completely faded from Chiron's eyes and instantly understood. "There are countless branches and twigs in the universe, and prophecy is not a thing."
"We should give it a try." Chiron quickly dimmed the light in his eyes and replied in a low voice, "It's all up to us."
"Don't you Greek Gods consider yourselves gods?" Rovi finally couldn't help but complain. Hermes seemed to have said something similar before.
"Huh? Oh, I'm a god!" Chiron scratched his head, looking belatedly surprised.
In Greece, gods and humans lived together, which was actually quite common.
"Speaking of which, Mr. Rovi, what brings you here?" Chiron inquired. "Also, why did you fight with Ares, God of War, before?"
"It's a long story, so I'll keep it short—" Rovi sat down on the withered grass in Peleon Cave: "Because he deserves a beating."
"..."
It is indeed short enough.
While Chiron didn't know why, he didn't suspect much.
Perhaps this is the image of a sage in his mind?
"However, I still have to say, although you have been an enemy of the gods in the past, the gods of Mesopotamia are different from the Greek Gods. What if something happens to you..." Chiron couldn't help but say.
Rovi Wei remained expressionless.
Is this the mentor?
Where did this old woman come from?!
"Ahem, speaking of Heracles, where is he?" Rovi interrupted Chiron.
"I've already graduated him." Chiron paused before replying, "He's studied with me for three years; I've taught him everything I could..."
"What a pity, I really wanted to teach him properly," Rovi said, feigning regret. "I wonder if he could even say those three words—"
I hope not.
This time, it was Chiron's turn to remain expressionless.
"Oh, speaking of which, do you know where the Arcadia's Paradise is?"
Arcadia's Paradise?
"If you're referring to the place where the Artemis, Goddess of the Moon stays on Earth, I can take you there—but I still have to ask, you don't actually want to go and beat her up, do you?"
After beating up Heracles, he beats up Ares, and after beating up Ares, he goes to find Artemis... Does Rovi intend to beat up all of Zeus's children?
It would be difficult for Chiron not to make such an association.
Fortunately, Chiron misunderstood.
"I'm just going to see a friend," Rovi said succinctly.
Since he said so, Chiron had no choice but to believe him and took him there.
Arcadia's Paradise, located at the heart of the entire Arcadia region.
This place was the heart of the world in the eyes of the Greeks, a beautiful place filled with nature and beauty, free from oppression, and was therefore also known as 'Utopia'.
Led by Chiron, Rovi soon arrived at such a place.
"It's just ahead." Chiron stopped at the border, pointed into the distance, and looked at Rovi.
Rovi looked in the direction he pointed.
The dense, lush forest, bathed in sunlight that was both intense and gentle, seemed no different from any other place. Yet, he could keenly sense the harmonious and Serenity atmosphere that permeated the area.
It is a realm where simply stepping into it can purify one's soul.
This applies to humans, birds, beasts, and fish alike.
"I won't go in."
Chiron said, "After all, Paradise is Artemis's dwelling place on earth, and as a descendant of the Titans, I am not qualified to enter it without permission."
Rovi nodded, indicating his understanding.
"But... you're really not going to beat up the moon goddess, are you?" Chiron became somewhat uneasy again the next second.
Rovi asked helplessly, "Am I really that violent?"
"Have."
"..."
After much persuasion, Rovi Wei finally managed to reassure Chiron, who had a naturally doting, motherly personality, and get her to leave.
The process included not only guarantees, but also turning the tables and criticizing Chiron's 'shortcomings', etc.
So much so that when Chiron left, his silhouette looked just like a field mouse being chased by a hound.
Rovi withdrew his gaze.
He turned his head and looked at 'paradise', utopia.
"There is indeed Little En's aura here." He closed his eyes slightly and carefully sensed it.
This harmonious atmosphere does indeed evoke Enkidu's feeling.
The Divine Construct were created by the Mesopotamian gods to limit the Keystone of Heaven. The concept that the gods created was 'nature'.
Natural and harmonious.
This grove of trees may have been formed because of Little En.
No wonder he was called a 'saint'.
Rovi opened his eyes, following that inexplicable feeling, and stepped deeper...
"Stop!"
A clear shout rang out from the woods ahead, and a lithe figure appeared in an instant.
She was a girl holding a slingshot. She stood on a tree, and her long, messy, emerald-green hair, which was clearly combed from a slingshot, swayed slightly in the wind, highlighting her delicate face and sharp eyes. Her shoulders were wrapped in a fluffy fabric, revealing a glimpse of her fair chest, which rose and fell slightly. Her waist was slender.
The open hem delicately outlines the curve of her rounded hips, swaying as she stands tall, while her legs extend steadily, their curves strong and beautiful beneath the black stockings.
A beautiful yet spirited Hunter Girl.
"My name is Atalanta, the guardian of Paradise."
"Who are you? With the permission of Lady Artemis— "
"Who allowed you to come here?!"
