When madmen from around the world came within five kilometers of Hyberlong, they would be eroded and infected by Metal Spores. Some of the lowest-ranking madmen would directly transform into Metal Zombies.
Madmen in decent physical condition might be able to resist the low-density Metal Spores on the outskirts and successfully enter the company's lower-level structures—warehouses, stations, basic workshops, and so on.
There, they would be infected with higher concentrations of Hyperplasia Bacteria, transforming into Zombies with greater mutations and more varied forms.
A very small number of tribal leaders or organization heads, madmen possessing Yium ore enhancements themselves, might continue deeper and locate the company's Organic Research Institute or reach the core area of the middle levels.
They would then have a chance to be infected with highly pure second-generation or first-generation bacterial strains, undergoing deeper mutations.
Regardless, all madmen transformed into Metal Zombies would undergo one process.
Mad Laughter Baptism
At all times, the Hyberlong Company played a set of Throat Resonators created by Han Dong through biological means, continuously broadcasting laughter he had recorded in advance.
