Chapter 1524: Highest Difficulty
Large and small white candles burned here, their light filling the entire secret chamber.
The seemingly flimsy wooden walls were covered in faintly glowing talismans.
The instant Han Dong stepped into the Safehouse, his slight tension and sense of danger vanished at the same time.
The "curse corrosion" remaining on his skin was slowly repaired under the candlelight.

Four completely different Black Candles stood atop the shrine, two of which had already been lit.

"We already tried it. Once a Clue Item is placed inside, the shrine automatically absorbs it.
For every item consumed, one corresponding Black Candle on the shrine is lit.
The Earl and I each found one Clue Item. Do you have any?"
"Pretty lucky. I happened to collect two clues... I wonder what will happen when all the Black Candles atop the shrine are lit."
The clue items currently obtained were as follows:
"Hanging Rope," "Black Jade Pendant," "Bloodstained Black Hair," and "Lollipop."
As Han Dong fed the rope and jade pendant into it, they immediately disintegrated into motes of light... The remaining two Black Candles slowly ignited with eerie flames.
As all four Black Candles lit up, their burning speed multiplied.
Even the bright candlelight was briefly suppressed.
Once the Black Candles had completely burned out, the light returned... A diary emitting black smoke appeared inside the
