Since the Holy City had already merged with the Abyssal Demon Faction,
figures like Popper were highly respected within the Holy City. Even Hugo Harrison, commander of the Whisper Knight Order and principal of Miskatonic University's Holy City branch, came personally after receiving the news.
Several days passed, and Popper stood quietly at the entrance to the clock tower the entire time.
Whenever knight squads came to the clock tower for Destiny Adventure, he politely stepped aside... Sometimes, when he encountered knights with spatial traits, he even kindly offered them a few pointers.
Whether through wind or rain,
Popper merely stood there in silence, with no extraneous changes or impurities appearing within his Starry Head.
However,
the longer Popper waited, the more anxious the Holy City became.
Even Commander Hugo personally approached him and invited Popper to rest in a nearby reception area, only to be refused. It seemed Popper had something of utmost importance that had to be relayed to Han Dong at the earliest possible moment.
Just as Hugo was beginning to worry,
a Black Carriage suddenly arrived. Mr. Black and White, dressed in a thin trench coat, stepped down from it, wearing a white mask over his face.
"Vice Commander of the Plague Knights and head of the Knight Academy's Mysticism Department—Black and White. It is an honor to meet Mr. Popper."
"Hmm?"
Popper seemed to sense a shared origin. He studied the mysterious masked man before him with curious eyes.
"There is actually such an advanced astrologer among humans. And there seems to be something else mixed within you as well. A crow? I never expected there to be another highly hybridized being in this city besides Nicholas.
