On the first day of arriving in the Chaos Zone—Black Lotus Village.

Knight Lisa had basically explained the general situation inside the Ancestor's Mansion, along with some of her past experiences.

One thing was certain.

These Abyssal Demons that had once died beneath Death's scythe became stronger and far more difficult to truly kill after being imprisoned in the mansion through Death Resurrection.

Lisa had mentioned some crucial information.

First, the foundation of the Chaos Zone—the Black Lotus—seemed to be hidden in The Depths of the mansion's dungeon. This also made the mansion the area with the densest deathly aura, and the place closest to true chaos.

The Abyssal Demons occupied the mansion partly because of Alex's restraints, and partly because they craved the pure deathly aura emitted by the Black Lotus.

Rumor had it that if any life-form in the Chaos Zone could touch the Black Lotus, it would gain a chance at true rebirth.

Although they could escape the influence of corruption and remain in the Chaos Zone as the dead, continuing to serve Commander Alex, most knights were already satisfied. Still, more or less, everyone wished to return to the Holy City as normal people and resume their former lives.

Second was the danger of the mansion itself.

To prevent repeated dungeon runs, Commander Alex had imposed a special set of rules on the mansion.

1. Only one Fallen Knight team was allowed to explore the mansion at a time.

2. During every exploration, the mansion's internal structure and scene arrangements would change, with no discernible pattern.

3. The mansion covered an enormous area. Besides the mansion itself, it included many regions in different styles. The difficulty had to be selected before entry. Choosing low-difficulty areas too many times would prevent one from obtaining Death Crystals.
