over two centuries of dissecting, analyzing, and studying Abyssal Demon flesh had revealed much.

Aside from displaying an intense rejection toward the metal atom known as "copper," Abyssal Demon cells

also rejected holy light, Mithril, and the patterns recorded on the Ancient Stone Tablet. These could restrict them, suppress regeneration, or even cause Cell Annihilation.

Twenty years ago,

Congreve Newton, Vice Commander of the Steam Knight Order, submitted a Military Research Project to the council in the name of the Mechanical God Cult, attempting to integrate every substance capable of restraining Abyssal Demons into metal machinery.

Several years passed.

A batch of "copper bullets," stamped with Church Seals along their casings, was distributed free of charge to Knight Orders that used firearms.
