Supplementary Treaty

Toad Oil candlelight illuminated the hall.

The various gemstones embedded in the head of the Toad Ancestor statue actively reflected the candlelight in specific directions, refracting the image of a "toad-shaped woman" in the center of the hall.

1. A Floral Toad lay atop the woman's head, exhaling a Poison Gas filled with icy chill with every breath.

2. Damp, curly hair hung before her face, obscuring more than ninety percent of it and revealing only the faint outline of a delicate oval face with a trace of seductive charm.

3. Her graceful figure was wrapped in thin, translucent silk, drifting with the candlelight and appearing and disappearing from view.

4. Her lower body was submerged in a pool. (The pool and its ripples were likewise formed through gemstone reflections.)

A voice imitating human speech echoed from all around the Toad Palace. "Human Knights who have come from afar, I admire your courage in entering the Toad Palace.

"I am the master of the Toad Palace, Maritis. It is a pleasure to meet you here... There appear to be several rather special Knights among you."

Pale yellow eyes hidden amid her hair spun rapidly, searching for Knights who emitted unique auras.

"I strongly oppose conducting so-called wars through crude and chaotic means.

"For you travelers from afar, I have specially arranged a very interesting 'War Mode'... Here, I will sign a 'War Contract—Supplementary Treaty' with you."
