On the surface, this deal seemed to be entirely based on the Toad Ancestor's needs. It wanted to borrow Han Dong's group to help it search for an item in Destiny World that could lessen its weariness.

Yet far more was involved behind the scenes than anyone could imagine.

Han Dong could see the things hidden beneath the surface only because of King's Contact in Perugia City. After meeting that gray High-tier Existence, his mental horizons had broadened considerably.

He understood very clearly why the Toad Ancestor valued him—or rather, why it valued this team.

1. Level

Just as aberrations were divided into ranks such as newborn, Mature Body, and Ancestral Body.

The same applied to knights. The activation of different talent layers signified different levels... and Destiny Space would assign suitable scenarios and participants based on those levels.

Han Dong and the other three were not highly ranked, yet they could defeat Mature Bodies in the Backyard.

Low rank, high strength—their chances of surviving in Destiny World were extremely high.

2. Entertainment

The rewards promised by the Toad Ancestor seemed immensely valuable to Han Dong, or perhaps to most aberrations. Whether it was the deed to land or an opportunity to observe the wall, neither was easy to obtain.

But in the Toad Ancestor's eyes,

such rewards were merely like a small plot of land in its "back garden," along with letting them look at the useless skin it had shed. Nothing worth mentioning.

Perhaps the Toad Ancestor truly wanted these little fellows to enter Destiny Space and help it find an item that could weaken its "lethargy,"

but what it wanted even more was "entertainment."
