Long before Han Dong took part in the Divine Selection Assessment, he had learned about the other Grand Priests from the Horror Source.
Within the pyramid, there were quite a few Grand Priests like him who refused to submit to the Pharaoh or remained neutral... After all, that was how the Divine Capital operated: the appropriate position was given to whoever possessed the corresponding abilities.
At the beginning, over ninety percent of the Grand Priests had wanted to replace the Pharaoh.
Yet every Grand Priest who tried to challenge him failed without exception... After this went on for a long time, everyone came to realize just how powerful the current Pharaoh was, and the number of people harboring such thoughts dropped from ninety percent to twenty percent.
Meat Chief was among those twenty percent.
Do not be fooled by all the fat covering Meat Chief's body.
The proportion of his body occupied by his brain was also far greater than that of an ordinary person.
The reason he had not spoken to Han Dong throughout their fight and had only relentlessly beaten him... was because, from Meat Chief's perspective, the situation had not yet tilted toward Han Dong. Or rather, the current Han Dong was neither worthy nor capable of making him change sides.
