But Fengyun did not develop any particularly favorable impression of the Kailai Family because of Huihui. After all, the Kailai Family had once intended to use underhanded methods on him because they valued his potential and connections.
Although the outcome had been good, he had no intention of taking especially good care of the Kailai Family.
He only asked Yale to lend them a little help, and aside from his personal feelings, there were two other reasons.
First, as he had just said, it was to avoid making others jealous.
Second, he did not want his role in this to be too obvious. Otherwise, if the organization judged that his relationship with Yale and the others had developed rapidly and arranged for him to make excessive demands of Yale and the others, it would put him in a difficult position.
Fengyun spoke openly and bluntly. If someone else had said such a thing, Yale might not have directly refused, but he certainly would not have taken it seriously.
If their relationship had been poor, he might even have cursed the other person out.
But when Fengyun said it, Yale was more than happy to oblige. He laughed heartily. "What's so troublesome about that? Leave it to me!"
Fengyun chuckled. "Then I'll go give my father-in-law a heads-up!"
"I won't say much else. Just one thing—when Lin Lei and I return from our training this time, we're going to Azure Paradise, and we won't leave until we're drunk!"
With that, he strode out of Ernst Academy and headed toward the Kailai Family.
The next day, Fengyun rushed to the Monster Mountain Range on horseback and took Lin Lei straight to a Snow Fox territory, knocking out two Snow Foxes to use as the main ingredients for refining Body Strengthening Potions.
