Background / History

Fengyun is a transmigrator from Blue Star who awakens in the Yulan Continent as Zhao Fengyun. At six, he tests with Lower Grade Dark Element Affinity, Middle Grade Light Element Affinity, and lower-grade Spiritual Power at six times the standard measure. Though born in the Dark Alliance, he learns that his mother Gu Yue originated from the Holy Alliance and that his parents welcome his aptitude for Light Magic 1 3.

He is recruited as a reserve sleeper agent for the Dark Alliance and placed in a Holy Alliance orphanage under the identity “Little Yun,” supposedly orphaned by a magical beast attack. To preserve the cover, his original Level 1 Dark Mage cultivation is dissolved. During the following year, he becomes a Level 1 Warrior through hunting, trapping, and physical training 4.

Fengyun chooses the warrior’s path as his primary pursuit, viewing magic as support for his future cultivation. He enters the Special Warfare Camp rather than following the organization’s intended mage route, then spends an unprecedented full year in the Monster Mountain Range as a trainee 9 14.
