With the city now in his hands, Gu Xi immediately understood the purpose of the labyrinths between the City Walls and the bird nests atop them.
They served in place of a moat.
But Gu Xi's attention was soon drawn elsewhere.
When he had first obtained this deed, Gu Xi had muttered, "Why does it only come with a level-six city?"
After all, Aryadovi City had already reached level eight at the time.
A level-six city was no longer enough to satisfy Gu Xi's appetite.
But as he looked at the magical city before him, Gu Xi felt that this deal had not been a loss.
He had never expected there to be as many as three buildings within the city capable of training dragons.

The variety here exceeded even Gu Xi's expectations.
There were also several unit types that originally should not have belonged in a dungeon. The nightmares in the Black Forest were the most obvious example.
Gu Xi remembered that those were clearly units from the Hell faction. He had no idea how the original owner of this deed had placed them in a dungeon.
Still, that worked to Gu Xi's advantage.
Dominic, who had just been transferred here, was the sort who operated more smoothly the more varied the units under his command were.
Following behind Gu Xi, Dominic's gaze toward the magical city changed.
